Luxury Glamping Yurts at Yale Manor

Our glamour camping (glamping) facilities, with upscale amenities in a 700-square-foot round Mongolian-style tent, are an unforgettable experience for any traveler. Our Yurts are comfortable enough for anyone and located in private areas of the park-like setting behind the Manor a short walk to the inn on winding footpaths.  Please note that our Yurts do not have traditional heating or cooling installed as it would require all the windows to remain closed at all times;  the Yurts have a dome at the top that can tilt open and a fan sucks warm air out of the top, while open flaps on the walls allow the cool lake breeze to pass through.  Plug in fans are provided which can help supplement the natural cooling if you choose.  We also provide plug in portable heating units to help with cooler evenings.

Most travelers are touring the wineries or partaking of all the wonderful nature in our area during the heat of the day and can spend the evenings sampling their favorite wine from the day's tour, so by the time they are back in the yurt the lake has cooled the area and the yurts are comfortable for sleeping.
